Project Description
As April brings the culmination of the Jumps with the Grand National and the finale at Sandown, the Flat season gathers full momentum with key trial days for the Classics and opening fixtures for some of the tracks. This means plenty of planning meetings for the team, for Newmarket, Goodwood, Epsom and Ascot, as well as the usual racedays for our regular clients.
Our lovely clients Pertemps started the month with a bang as they took on the sponsorship of the Flat season’s traditional opening fixture, the Lincoln. No strangers to Doncaster Racecourse having previously sponsored the St Leger, they had plenty of branding in stock to paint the course blue for the two-day race meeting.
The Flat season may have started, but we were still plenty busy at the Jumps tracks. Irish Thoroughbred Marketing had three sponsored days in April, with races at Wincanton, Chepstow and Ayr …. and then there was the big one, the 2023 Randox Grand National meeting at Aintree. With our office in Liverpool, Aintree is a home ground for us and we love working there. The Grand National fixture has such a unique party atmosphere, and it’s a real thrill to be involved in an event that the world is watching. As well as working for the racecourse with some marketing branding and the style awards, plus the catering teams for some bars, we also branded a number of hospitality bars and suites, for The Green Room, ROA, Molson Coors and EFT, and our clients Weatherbys had a sponsored race. We also did all the race presentation branding changes for the three days of racing.
